My family is all in the UK. I know how it feels when you get bad news but you can't do anything to assist.

It sounds like he is in great hands though. I'm sure he'll make a speedy recovery. You'd be surprised how quickly they get people back on their feet.

Ryan, it was really eerie reading your thread title & the li'l bit from the "hover" preview. By the sounds of your latest update, your brother's spirits seems all positive (good ol' morphine helps, too, eh?). Though the ordeal has been tough on your Mom & family, be thankful that they are right there to support him. I realize the helplessness you may feel not knowing certain details or being able to fly to his bedside, but I'm certain he & your family are grateful for your long-distance support & prayers. Pls. let them know they've got a whole community of Subie enthusiasts backing y'all up, too.

Here's to a full & speedy recovery of all the mending that he needs!
