i-club friendly smog stations
Hey all, time has come for smog and I was wondering if there were any i-club friendly smog stations out here in the san Jose area. I'm running full e85 so I'm not too worried about emissions. Thanks a bunch!

Yep, the 76 off of 101 and on De La Cruz near the burger king. The guy there is cool he passed me on visuals and I passed emissions with at the time a Cbe and Rfl bov. Get there before 3 though
If in doubt, FLAT OUT

CBE is LEGAL as long as it passes the 95dB limit. Just got mine smogged with the Hush on and no issues. I also have a custom welded exhaust on my GMC 2500 and it passed with no issue either.

Once again... after so many threads no one still understands that you are not to post places and keep it to PMs

I wasn't asking for "illegal" smog places, I've got my stock downpipe on, no bov or anything. Thanks for the input though.

since this thread is up...
im curious..
If i do have a CBE that is over 95db, and I just install the silencer to get it under 95db? or would I have to change out the whole CBE to something quieter?

Silencer would work if it got it quiet enough, the decibel limit isnt for smog just the safety of the roads. You'd get a fix it ticket (like tint, license plate, or body work stuff) not a ref ticket if your car was too loud, but it does give the cop a reason to think your car does have illegal car parts.

Smog places don't care about dB's, they only care about emissions. It's the cops and the state ref (God forbid) that care about volume.
