well i was there first hand to see that car in action last weeken at the NASA weekend at buttonwillow

the car was slow, in the front straight he could not even hang with a 270whp evo that walked away from him lets put it this way the customer mentioned above was not happy with that hahah he said " i cant belive that car pulls away from me" an evo that put down 270whp on a dynojet, anyways the next session out he came into his garage which was across from our pit/paddock blowing smoke hard out his exhaust he ended the day on a trailer back to oceanside,ca with a blown turbo, guy was pissed about the evo tho wish my car held together would have been fun to pass him in group 4 on the front straight

Comparing dyno numbers is the thing of the past. With dozens of differently calibrated dynos, the "whp" numbers are as good as comparing "stages" (aka staged upgrades) from different companies.

Personally I have a stage XXVIX WRX with 789whp from my road dyno...

James,

I would be interested to hear what your times where also? The STi was running 2:06.5888 one of the fastest cars on the track period. Robert Fuller (Buschar / Road Race EVO driver) who drove in the Ultimate Street Car Challenge last year and won the time trial event was only a little over a half second faster at 2:05.819. Maybe it was driver error that he did not beat Robert Fuller.

Gee, I thought Shiv measured in Clydesdales, while some others measured in Shetland ponies...

That's just what I heard.
