so, yesterday on the way to work, my car died. wtf?

i pulled over and thought it might just be that i was out of gas (the gas light was on for a few miles).

as it turns out, my cam position sensor support BROKE. sucky!

so, my boss picked me up and brought me back to my place where i salvaged a replacement cam position sensor and support from my previous RS engine.

last night, my wife and i were heading off to the bank and it broke AGAIN...

i figured out that if the same problem happens twice in 1 day, that something like a loose bolt has to be inside the timing belt cover... sucky!

so... if anyone knows of a place where i can get the cam position sensor and support bracket, i can pick it up today (driving the wife's mr2)...

gah. i hate this.

 

Sensor, but not bracket. 100 miles away is the closest dealer with a bracket in stock. Not to say someone here might not have an extra.

 

yeah. i need the bracket more than anything. i've got 2 sensors. 1 is questionable, the other has only minor scratches...
