-1 to cops. I found traveling in packs to Hammy helped prevent people from getting pulled over. Possibly the simple minded police are overwelemed by the number of subys and unable to single out any cars from the group. Anyways, because you didn't make it, does this mean we have to have a repeat event in the near future?

sorry to hear that, on my way to mt.hammy, right after i got on the 680 there was a CHP behind me and stayed behind me for about 2 mile then he exited, i thought i had bad, but i guess im lucky, hope everything works out for you

And this is why you get your license and own property in a less-restrictive state (one without smog - like Montana) and then live in another.
If anyone wants to come up with me to "visit," I'm cool with that.... I think my parents rent a "room" or two in their house... if you know what I mean.

awesome idea.. I would recommend this
you can send a letter from Montana (this is tricky) to the courts to let them know you have moved and cannot prove correction since the vehicle is no longer registered in the state of California

That sucks man. I wish, I would have gone as well, too tired, and the damn heat just made it worse. As far as getting pulled over, it will happen to all of us sooner or later. Just sucks that it had to happen right before the meet at Mt. Hammy. Good luck, and keep your head up d00d
