no no no no no tpain doesnt have nearly any skill to even tell what a vocoder looks like nontheless use it. he uses autotune, which is automatically computer adjusted. i give props to the og's who know how to use the vocoder. auto tune is just a talentless ***** way out of sayin, oh i cant really sing........but ima fool u into swaying with my cool electronical voice.

I think its funny how everyone is so hateful toward T-pain's use of autotune. Just because the attenuation, or frequency modulation is not easily detectable doesn't mean its not there. My point is that plenty of studio recordings by other artists are severely altered, and T-pain shouldn't be discounted for creatively using this musical tool. I especially don't want to hear it out of Jay Z who doesn't even apply melodies to his lyrics
