3 of the Dodger guys got suspended 5 games for last night's game hahaha

 

Despite the loss tonight... Zito looked awesome basically only giving up a solo HR until he lost command of his pitches.

Nice seeing a Giant pitcher pitch a game focusing on keeping hitters off balance and making poor contact vs. trying to strike out the side every inning and burning out his arm by the 5th/6th inning.

Billingsley (hate to say it) was phenomenal.

On the upside at least Buster is up to 15 games now lol.

I've never seen Zito so pissed off. He's usually a mellow guy. But he was cursing and yelling expletives and giving stank eye to pretty much everyone yesterday.

Me too! It's good to see him get fired up like that after the years of being the "mellow grooves" guy. Eff that. Get fired up, pitch like you did last night and it'll come. The offense just needs to support him with a run or two, hell, maybe even three?!?!

He pitched a damn good game last night and should hold his head high.

^ only problem is, he "seems" to blame some of it on Posey. I'm just stating my opinion here, not based on truth lol. The other time somebody hit a home run off him, he questioned the pitch selection called by Posey. I could be wrong, but he's given Posey some stank eye during those times he's pissed off

 

You think so? I can't imagine a veteran like Zito giving his rookie catcher the stink eye because he gave up a home run. Besides, iirc that pitch was a good pitch - low and on the outer part of the plate. Credit to Blake on digging it out and hitting it out.
