Ya I think it would be great if they were really doing this not because theyre getting out of the pad biz but just to flood the market with so many Touchpad users they will have a decent sales base apps and to stay in the market, they've definitely generated a **** ton of positive buzz.

im looking at the thread on the hot deals section where they just list online stores who has them in stock/out of stock.they would probly continue with some support nothing major.

 

Considering how much HP spent getting Palm and WebOS and how they're planning on using it in more than just tablets, wouldn't look too good to just ditch WebOS with tablets.


Little off topic, but I thought I heard something about HP getting out of the computer business too?? Anyone know anything about that? Or did the news mix up computers and tablets??

So the plan is to buy the software company Autonomy and sell their PC division to cover the cost of buying Autonomy, correct? Turning them from being a PC/device company to a software company?
