Um, well, it was the Fraternity of STi special edition. Only given to those to pre-ordered the Super Wagon. It is a special, limited production that I thought (quite wrongly) that the people who received these would, I don't know, at least put the damn thing in a case.

So no, I'm not retarded. I wanted the special STi edition. Hell, I would have swapped the guts to something girthy if it was in acceptable shape.

I'm still rockin' a 80gb ipod video from 2006, and it still looks brand new.

No offense, but I guess you don't see the uniqueness of this.

Sorry, I don't see the uniqueness... If it has 300GB (hint 300HP from STI), then maybe...

It just looks like an iPod w/ "STI" & "Fraternity of STI" stickers that could be made by any vinyl sticker shop.

Gouki,

If you paypal'd it through your debit card, I'm fairly sure that Paypal debits it via the M/C or Visa Network. therefore, you should see if you still have protections via M/C or Visa.

If you used the debit card at Paypal with your 4-digit PIN, then your only recourse would be thru your financial institution.

But more likely, Paypal will be the only path to try your dispute, since I think they will say the debit was to 'PayPal' and not directly to the seller of the IPod.

good luck!

"if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

ALWAYS ALWAYS GET PICS with electronics, with the device on & not on of course, that being said you still don't know if the seller is being honest.

I got scammed on some wrx struts; they were poorly packaged and when I was cheking them, all were blown out. Paypal had my back tho. GOOD LUCK

Yeah, the seller was one of those "gee it's so hard to upload pictures on ebay" guys, and there wasn't enough time left on the auction to expect a response anyway.

If it was off the forum or some other non time dependent (auction) I would have definitely asked for multiple angles, ect.

wow, never knew that existed till now, and i would've thought that the stickers would cover more of the back.

if you could find one in pristine condition that would be one badass iPod touch.

Yeah, his rating is 40/40 100% positive.

That is, until I get the First Strike achievement and his rating will go to 97.5
