So the price is $6767? That's an odd price.

That's a REALLY fun car to drive in it's 5speed trim! My friend let me drive his for a couple of days while my car was in the shop and I was REALLY surprised at how fun it was to drive that thing! The one I drove had a good amount of power (not sure if he had an engine swap or what), the rear end was really predictable and came out when you wanted it to, and when it did come out it was REALLY easy to control. The car felt solid and had a very low stance... I believe my friend's car was lowered a little bit, but otherwise stock in terms of suspension and wheels. It felt really nice on the freeway, very stable at higher speeds and didn't suffer from the cruising difficulties that our subies suffer from (when you're driving our cars at 80+mph the car just feels like it's fighting against the aerodynamics of the car... Hard to describe until you've driven a car like this that drives really smoothly where when you're going 80mph you feel like you're going 40mph)

when quoting craigslist... always quote for posterity

Im selling or looking for a trade for my clean title in hand 95 sc300 super rare black on black leather original 5spd one of about 100 made with that combo. minor mods are tein full coilovers, 2.5 cat-back, cd player with aux, power everything. Everything works interior is in great shape. HID headlights and fogs. LED white dash lights all needle lights work, had 184,xxx miles, just did the oil, plugs wires cap and rotor and fuel filter the 2jz supra motor runs like a champ. suspension rides great not harsh at all. Clutch was done a few months ago also. only flaw is the bumper is from a newer model sc300 and needs to be re painted but not really noticeable. has typical exterior wear for a car its age. overall solid and will last along time. rides smooth all around like a luxury car should.

Thanks for the tip. Still a n00b here. I've personally been pissed trying to look at old CL ads people posted.

I personally love old bodied SC's. I wish they had made 6-speed manual SC400s. Thinking an LS would make for a fine Euro-styled GT sports car.

You can swap the turbo supra engine in it with 6 speed.

The bottom end is actually the 1jz. I think been awhile. I always wanted one of these. Turbo it, you can even keep the 5 speed and make these things fast. Yes they do have a curb weight of 3200 lbs though....

I thought they were closer to 3400-3500 lbs in weight? I know a MK4 N/A Supra will be around 32XX lbs and the SC was definitely a heavier car. Somebody buy a Century V12 and slap it in!

SC400 V8 w/ Manual Transmission - $8500

1994 SC400 with 190k miles. All services/maintenance up to date. Have a stack of reciepts. Interior 9/10. Exterior 9/10. New window regulator (both), new mirror ecu(common problem with mirrors not working), new ac compressor, new alternator, new radiator, list goes on. Every common problem for this model are fixed with receipts. New brakes all around. Green exterior/tan interior. 3rd owner. Clean title.

Best part... Sc400's don't come in automatics...sc300 do although less than 10% comes in them and they're still priced 6-7k for decent ones, good ones if you're lucky. I did all the conversion myself with photos of the process...the adapter plate/clutch kit/flywheel are all new. Transmission shifts smooth no grinds. 5 Speed transmission. Now, you have a Lexus coupe with a V8 motor and a manual transmission!

Testing waters right now, I don't want to be low balled because you will never come across an SC400 for sale with a manual transmission while retaining the V8 motor. Every time that you would come across one for sale they say SC400 (which only comes in V8) with a 5 Speed swap which turns out they just threw in a 2jzgte/1jzgte (6 cylinders) which kills the SC400 title. Smog is a issue with those cars too. This car, smog legal and ready!

Email for more questions/offer.
Not the v12... but getting closer.

I'm sure SC400s only came in Auto. This guy must've swaped it with a W58 or something.
