Mine without correction was $7xx.

I got hit with 27156b, tint and no front plate. Went to court and had it dropped to $1xx. Which I then requested to make in payments.

So, I went into the courthouse today to take care of the ticket.....came to $182. It sucks, but I guess it could of been worse. Anyone know if the fine will increase if this happens a second time?

Yeah, I put her back to stock, well... close to stock anyways, she still had the Zerosports splitter, tgv deleates and APS inlet on which I had painted satin black before I installed them which he didn't seem to notice :sigh:
Hey Chris, does the aps inlet (70mm) mate up to the stock airbox? I'm kinda thinking about going back to stock as well.

are you guys getting pulled over specifically for your exhaust being loud and then they tell you to pop your hood?

Usually. Or window tint, or no front plate, or for owning a Subaru...

Only reason I ask is because I get pulled over all the time for tint and no license plate, but they never ask me to pop my hood. I mean I don't have a grapefruit shooter muffler, but Im pretty sure they can smell the richness coming from my tailpipe. I usually get let off with a warning or non-fine fix it ticket.

You're lucky. Could be the year or appearance of your car.

I got popped with a APS 3", stock looking and on the quiet side when cruising.

It will if you use the 22 degree 8 inch long coupler that came with the inlet and use another slightly smaller coupler on the airbox side to fill the gap, cause the airbox inlet is around 65mm. I had to do that for my K&N tyfoon.

I think it was just I was at the wrong place at the wrong time, cause I'm running the Greddy SP2, which is pretty low key and this was the first time in about two years of running it that the cops noticed it. Luckly he didn't ask to pop the hood, I even have tint and no front plate and he didn't say anything.
