We ended up going with a Syrah Rose from Paso Robles - it's light, fruity, and has decent acidity to go with bbq-type stuff, but not too sweet. I guess a nice light pinot would've gone well too.

Whenever I give myself a day off I usually cook for myself and the wife. You'd think i'd be tired of it by the end of the week.

i put down "i can't cook toast" because it was the closest thing that described my level of cooking skill. but i can cook toast.... and cereal
