How many people run 18x8 rims?

I just got on my 18x8 rota formula mesh rims w/ 245/40 tires, and I had my rear fenders rolled. Rear is fine, but under load cornering I can hear my front end rubbing and I might have to raise up my suspension a bit. Are a lot of you guys running 18" rims? How low are you? I have yet to get under with a flash light and see where exactly its rubbing...I'll have to do that.

I rub when I corner ridiculously hard... Last time was a U-turn from 35mph. But I'm only on 17x8. In reality though, it's the width you have to worry about.

I'm 18x8 with 235 40 18 and lowered on Swift Springs and have no issues. No rolled fenders either. Even under heavy cornering or braking load I have never rubbed...but the mudflaps definitely scrape under heavy load lol.

well whats your front camber at?

i used to rub in the rear with 225/45/17 on 17x8. rolled my rear fenders, it was better but still rubs a tiny bit when i do HARD (like 35mph u turn hard) cornering. my coilovers are set on very low, but still a very small gap between tire and fender. btw i had around -1.2 camer in rear..about -2.1 up front. 0 toe.

Same here, 18x8 on Swifts and only thing that rubs rediculously are the mudflaps.

Im running 18x8 P1s with 235/40/18 tires on STANCE coilovers and I dont get any rubbing at all while city and freeway driving. The only time I heard rubbing was when we went up to Mt. Hammy

Its sittin on the low side right now too. I might have to raise my suspension up a little bit once my new rims come in..

I'm fairly certain its just that I don't have enough room for my wheel compared to the amount of travel I have with my suspension. And I find most of the time its when I am turning, pretty good load and I hit some sort of bump . Im only running a degree of camber in the front right now. I plan to up it to like 2 and a half though..I did decide to keep them =]. Though slightly on the heavy side, they are teh sechsy. I am installing an ALK soon so I figure since I need an allignment after that I'll lift up my suspension a tad. I'll try to take some pics.
