only advice i have is don't skimp on adding some water, the water evaporates, but once the rice burns its game over

Just chop some onions, carrots and set aside some crushed garlic.

Saute garlic, onions, carrots in some butter or oil.

After cooking the above, add your meat (up to you what kind, shrimp, meat etc...) Add tje egg and mix well to keep the egg separated while cooking.

Add your precooked steamed rice (prefferably Asian rice like Jasmine etc...)

Season the rice with salt pepper and some soy sauce.

If you want, you can sprinkle a few drops of Maggi or Knorr seasoning available at Asian stores or some Albertson's branches with a International section

Steam rice in rice cooker.

Fry up 2 or 3 eggs, depending on how much egg you like in your fried rice. Break the yolks, and chopp up the egg while it is frying. Put egg into wok.

I use the frozen vegetable pack the comes with peas, carrots and corn. Fry them up until crispy (yes taste them).

When steamed rice is done, put vegetables and rice in wok with egg. Use very a very little amount of vegetable oil. Put in a bit of soy sauce, salt, pepper, and a small amount of sugar. Fry until rice is brownish. Try it as you cook. Now it is ready to serve. Serve with circular cuts of tamato and jalapeno's.

You can also put in meat accordingly, but my girlfriend is a vegetarian, so this is how I cook it. VERY EASY!!!!

Leave your cooked rice overnight to get some of the water out. If you use freshly cooked rice it'll be very mushy and hard to fry.
