I am heading up there for an 8pm concert at the Berkeley Community Theater.

I am wondering , what time should I leave home, and should I not take my subie? I don't want my **** getting broken in to and I just remember a while back people talking about their cars getting stolen or broken in to in Berkeley.

 

you will hit the traffic in miliptas going into fremont, fremont near mission, and some patches around oakland. I would say 1 hour at the most

Another option is to catch bart in fremont and bart up to berkeley....

i'd leave at 6... you're gonna hit traffic, no doubt.

 

last time I used bart was when I was about 11 years old. I don't have time to look up everything, so I am going to drive.

 

BCT is about 3 blocks from the Berkeley Bart station.
I'd suggest bart too, parking around BCT when theres a show can be a real b....

i'd give yourself atleast 7 minutes...maybe 10 if you are going in the afternoon

 

ok, looking like we are going to take Bart from Fremont. I just remembered that I absolutely HATE driving through Oakland/Emeryville in traffic.

 

yeah, bay traffic is not cool
