How do you identify cocaine?

I have done coke but it was the stuff the doctor gave me... for real.
Here is a brief story:
So when i was a kid, (and sometimes still) I would get these terrible nose bleeds. I wasnt doign coke at the time
Well i went to the doctor and they wanted to cauterize my nose on the inside so it would stop bleeding. Its soemthign that looks liek a paint by number paint brush, with i think iron oxide or something on the tip. (it hurts like a mother ****er, ) Well the numbing solution they spray is a saline/cocaine soultion up in your nose.
I dont know if they do this anymore this was probably around 1990-1992. Well anyway I had football tryouts the next day and I took a **** test and I failed!!
Told my mom what happened and she laughed, told me what the doctor gave me to numb my nose when they did the procedure. Got a doctor note stating why it was in my system. So i gave my coach a doctor note for why I did cocaine. 
still makes me laugh to this day...

Lol Ryan same happened to me but it was is eye drops cus I used to make computer wafers and one shattered in my eye. After leaving hospital I got a note for work that said they used cocaine drops in my eye and I had to use them for next three weeks and wear a patch. The drops would stop you from blinking lol. The only time I ever had the stuff. And that was about '95

Ya it didn't keep me up but then again my job worked me about 15 hrs a day and travel time was about 3 hours so I really didn't sleep much. That job made me an insomniac lol.
