Definitely. I mean I'm not Indian. But ethnicities from that background or something similar, it is extremely disrespectful. Like a girl never hits a guy, but it's totally fine for a guy to beat his wife. I mean, I'm not saying it's right or anything, but that is how it is in these countries. I wouldn't hit a girl, but, I can't say for sure cause I never got slapped in front of a lot of people. Lol....
