After selling my 1250 sq ft 1937 shack in Santa Barbara for (are you sitting down?). 1.2 Million (granted at the high point of real estate) I still paid $500K (over-priced then) only 2 years earlier!

The house you describe I now live in, in a place with no traffic and I am 15 minutes to 'God's Country' in any direction!!! Did I mention, Oregon has a shortage of State Troopers, but a surplus of twisty two lane forest roads?

Everyone makes their own bed. I don't miss a single thing about Cali (OK, In & Out excluded!).
