Seems like my placement for clinical rotations will be at St Joesph's hospital which is at N California and E Harding.
How bad is that area?
Assuming the suggestions will be
-Good insurance
-Wheel locks
-Quick release lock
-Beater car
But seriously, gotta look into options, I won't be sleeping in Stockton though. Just through my shift rotations.

Oof.. That's right in it. You should be fine with your car there assuming the have a guarded well-lit parking garage/area as most hospitals do, but it's not somewhere I'd go for a jog at 2am.
Thing I find ironic with St. Joseph's is that there is a cemetery right next door. LOL

EEEWWWW Stockton
If you're not sleeping there, I'd consider taking the Ace train instead of driving.
ACE | Altamont Corridor Express - Home
It's only $13 one way, I doubt you could drive/park for that price

That's a 3 hr commute for me then........ takes 2 hours from south bay to stockton and I live out in Half Moon Bay. Doesn't meet my 7am or 7pm start schedule.

She gets gun shot wound victims daily... And she lives in manteca to stay away from all that.
Hook up with Sons of Anarchy out in Charming and have that MC support your cause with you transporting meth through the area... and you're also backed by Heisenberg.

Had my FD rx7 there for 4.5 years of school at UoP with no break ins. At St Josephs you park underground. Most of the crime I knew of was people leaving their cars unlocked. Or mid 90s hondas where any key works. I'm sure if you left your car parked over night on harding you might have issues. But if you live in any decent area I do not think you will have an issue. Most apartment complexes are gated, so no issues there.
If they will let you, pay to park in the underground parking. If not get a good security system. One of the best shops in Nor Cal for Security is actually in Stockton. Warehouse Car Stereo. I can get you taken care of there if interested.
