how to adjust a/f mixture?
Phil,
My comments on the cat were just a suggestion. Make sure that is what the root problem is. Impala sounds like he has more wisdom on the subject. Not sure how you validate a clogged CAT. In my case, the muffler shop was able to pull and inspect. I had that feeling all along when my jeep was running crappy after I tried everything else.
Good luck,
Bill

Don't Laugh, I went to Dick's Muffler. (ask for Richard or the owner Dick) It's on Texas street behind the premier stereo place.
It was couple years ago and I think I paid couple hundred bucks. That's because He did the entire exhaust at 3" from the header to the tail pipe. Went with the magna flow. The other exhaust was way too loud (can't remember the name of it).
Anyway, did you CONFIRM your cat is bad? I just wanted to make sure my suggestion was exactly taken as that. 2cents worth.
Dick's muffler shop is the best in FF for custom work only. If you need something real cheap, go to the shop behind UNION street behind the newer court houses. I wouldn't go to Dick's muffler for a catback system. That's' too easy for any shop to do cheaper.
