How about Lamborghini R-GT

This car meets FIA and ACO specifications and only costs 500,000 Euros, according to Lamborghini. It is, of course, a race car, and a menacing one at that, all done up in flat black carbon fiber finish. It was done by Reiter Engineering and Audi's sports division. The carbon fiber helps keep the weight down to 2420 pounds. Customers will benefit from Lamborghini's trackside assistance, one step better than AAA. Most of the cars will be ready for the 2004 season but Lamborghini plans to compete in two races this year, the FIA GT events at Estoril Oct. 5 and Monza Oct. 19. Go Bull.

once again... i like the style and i know the spoiler is functional (at least i hope it is seeing how it's a lambo) but is really makes the car look like rice

You'd think you get some state of the art engineering that looked good and functional for half a milion dollars. rather than a giant spoiler

That is a race car man....that wing is 100% function.

Even their street wings...which buy the way are a $10k option....are fully functional.

man, you guys are trippin'.....rice my @$$.....its a race car....its supposed to have a huge wing.....the crappy wings you see on ricers are wannabees....designed after these types of cars. GT racers and Touring racers are the original designers of those types of wings....its the morons that decided they wanted to make a ripoff so they could put it on their car at home to make it look like a racecar......unfortuneatly...I have never seen a GT or Touring car that is a honduh civic...... wannabees.....besides.....am I the only one that noticed that the wing on the Lambo....looks strikingly similar to the V.2 carbon fiber STI wing? I like it.....I dont care what anyone says....call it rice if you want, but it will smoke anyones car on this site, and stay firmly planted on the ground thanks to that thing!

That is the ANTI-RICE. I don't think rice means what you think it means.

Just to be clear - my definition of "rice":

Something gaudily tacked on to a vehicle to approximate a functional race piece on a streetgoing vehicle where no performance gain is realized.

i.e. Bi-plane wing, roof scoop, slew of sponsor stickers when those companies have never heard of your car or know who you are, dual exhaust, anodized front bumper tow hook, etc.

*shudder*

I think what you guys just mean to say is "tacky looking".
