Hostage Taker Shot Dead by Policewoman -- Raw Video
Saw this on the news a few days ago, looks like the video's hit Youtube.
7/9/10: A man in Guangzhou, China, takes a woman hostage with a pair of scissors and demands ransom as he stabs the woman repeatedly (stabbing not shown in the attached video, but I saw it on another news report). Police step in to defuse the situation. When the hostage taker becomes thirsty, he demands a drink from the police, who in turn throw him a bottle of Coca Cola.
What unfolds is the following:
A plainclothes policewoman shoots the hostage taker dead!

Werd... and sometimes China gets justice right. 
WTF is it with Chinese people and stabbings? There was this whole copy cat thing of men breaking into schools and using kitchen knives to stab little kids to death a while back.

You should edit your OP and add "FFW to the 2min mark for the action because nothing happens until that point". 
She's a weird shot... The one handed shooting on her follow up shots looked very amateur... I wonder what kind of gun she was using? What do Chinese police use?
