The one on Haight is Kan Zaman. Good food if you know your middle eastern. Expect an hour to 2 hour wait on a Friday or Saturday night.

Kan Zaman, on Haight, across Shrader from ChaChaCha. Great food, and the hookas rock (ah one of the few reasons I miss smoking ). Try the apple or apricot tobacco ... Mmmmmm ... with a cup of turkish coffee, of course.

There's also a place on Post just west of Japantown, its outdoors and on the corner. Can't recall the name but just go west on Post after Japantown and you can't miss it... there's nothing else arabic for miles I am sure Its not as swank as Kan Zaman, but they do have big ol' hookas and good food.
