Hoodlouvers vents?

Anyone tried these hood vents?

Looks like simple DIY. Although I never used pop rivets before.

Havent done it but i can help if you do it. I have a sheetmetal shop with a pneumatic pop rivet gun that makes life much easier... pm me if you decide to go that route.

Maybe go with this instead. I may give it a try if I don't replace my stock hood.

What are you trying to do with them? I used them once but they didn't flow anywhere near enough for my application.

Was hoping for better ventilation and lower underhood temp.

They help a little with that, certainly don't help for what I needed which was some of that and also for aero related reason's

So, what's the working alternative (for TMIC car) then?

I've read somewhere that the OEM design of the front end airflow is supposed to utilize the low pressure zone underneath the car to pull hot air down from behind the intercooler.

This is why some rally cars with extensive skid plates have under-hood temperature control issues, as they have effectively blocked that airflow path.
