Honestly smoked by "Spec R" Legacy.
Where's the Subie love? I'm just going to work, minding my own business. This guy comes flying up the left lane of the 85 to 101 interchange. Of course everyone knows there is a merge coming up, so I just let him pass.
But gosh, it's a turn, he slows down. Ok, I'll get in front then. But this isn't satisfactory to Mr. Spec R, so he goes over to the next lane and trys to get by me again.
Okay, another merge. And we all know how they work. One car from each lane, taking turns, merging one from A, one from B, one from A, etc. Right?
No, not good enough for him. Mr. Spec R goes to the next lane and blasts off down the road, after nearly clipping my rear bumper of course.
I only have a lowly Spec Nothing WRX so I go about my business. I eventually pass the guy since I normally cruise in the left lane. Best part, he does the "Ricer Rubberband" move. He sees me go by, then downshifts (automatic?) and let's the fury fly out of those big shiny dual exhausts (4" tip?). Goes by me, and slows down again. Of course since I maintain my speed, I pass him again.
When I first got this car, I was surprised to find people waving at me. It was all very nice. Until today. Thanks Mr. Spec R. I'm sure your Legacy is "teh faster" but please drive like an asshat further away from my slow car.

p.s. i guess the "SPEC B" vanity plate was taken? What does the "R" stand for?
EDIT: Ok, i didn't have my glasses on. The plate said "SPEC B" but it looked like an "R" with the stupid save the whales coloring behind it.

get used to it. I can't tell you all the unwanted ricers that rev at me or do "fly bys" on my STi. It's just hillarious how much it happens. I have learned to ignore it, I don't even notice it until the girl points it out anymore.
