Honda Fit?

What do you guys think about those cars? I work at Honda and it is starting to grow on me. I am looking to get a commute car and the Fit seems to fit my need... May be a K-series motor swap in the future

I enjoyed driving the new Scion xD a little more. Handled better, had a little more pep and I liked the interior a lot more, especially the iPod friendly stereo. Neither had much go at all though so I didn't really enjoy driving either on the freeway (hwy 101). The Fit does get better MPGs.

The new Fit design pics are popping up, looks a lot like a Prius, less like a microvan though...

I'd almost prefer a Mini Cooper over most of the other microcar options, but thats just me. You do work at Honda so that may get you a good deal on the Fit though...

When I was in the market for a car, I was actually debating between getting a Fit or my Suby. I think if they had the one I wanted, I probably would've gotten it. For a commuter, that is a pretty nice ride. But since I can only have one car, I'm quite glad I got the Suby.

I checked out the new xD and it looks cool too. I guess I have to take it for a spin. I don't mind commuting in the wrx but the mpg is not all the great for city driving. I have a lot to think about and have a month-2 months before I sell the sti and get a commuter.

xB's are awesome for road trips and great on gas

I cant imagine how much cooler a Fit would be...besides less room. SWAP IT! and say goodbye 35 mpg!

(i got 32 MPG on I-5 to San Diego Averaging 80-90 on the straights) 1.5L FTW!

I remember my old '97 2.2L camry getting 31mpg on my commutes to work haha. those were the days. My sister claims her '01 corolla can get 40mpg if she tried.

Yeah.. they have some nice cars as riceboy as honda may sound. They do quality work. It's high money **** thou.. have to be a baller to roll with those guys.

I remember last year my lil cos and the crew were comign down here to buttonwillow for timeattack they stopped by Oakland and didn't know it was the ghettos and were afraid to get off to take a pee because they were towing their open trailer cars in the back. They held it in and called me where there is a safe place where they can stop.

actually I am curious too..

my fiance is looking at a few cars currently..

Mazda 3 hatch (special edition or whatever with the leather)
Honda Fit
Mini Cooper

The fit seems to have serious room for how small it is.

I had my eye on one for awhile until I found out I don't fit behind the steering wheel. 6+ footers beware! Zero leg room.

Hello used XB! The -600 pound one. So much fun to mob around in.

my lady is going to san jose today to buy a "black berry pearl" honda fit... woooooohooooo anything but her damn 95 4runner.. i averaged the mileage out to being about 10mpg.. its insane.. with payments+insurance+gas will probably end up being cheaper each month for her with the honda fit.. she pays about 90 a week in gas (lucky she works so close to home/school) plus her insurance so thats about 500 a month to drive her 4runner.. so with this fit she'll get waaayyy better gas probably equaling out to about 400-450 a month in gas+insurance+payment.
