Thumbs up Home access from your phone!

Just saw this on tv a few mins ago so i decided to check out their site.

Ever get locked out of your house? Have someone coming over while you were out and they beat you home?

Well this system connects to your phone! You can open your door like normal with a key but you can also open it with your cell phone from anywhere! You can check and see the status off all the locks in your house that are connected.

There are also cameras you can hook up too. Then see live video on your phone as well.

I can see the horror movie innuendos with this system...

Yeah, and when they start putting GPS devices in phones, then it'll lead them right to your house too!!

Sorry, I'm a fan of phones being phones. Don't really use them for anything else.

In Japan or korea, a phone is pretty much everything, which is why the security to a phone should be just as crude. Phone's are credit cards, too. As long as the security measures are there then there shouldn't be any problems.

Then again humans are stupid, so we would have to account for dumbness. (no matter how much security there is, someone will do something dumb enough to let others get away with things).

Well if your phone does get lost/stolen how are they going to know where your house is? Unless you have your address posted in it

An empty house is one thing, but what if you came home to a house full of criminals/thieves/etc. waiting for you?
