Hey man, the Japanese definitly did NOT invent drifting.

We were doing "Power Slides" in high school in my Camaro fifteen years ago long before anyone here ever heard of "drifting" and I dont care what anyone thinks, nuthin beats a fat V8 live axle power slide

So it might seem surprising to you to see an Elco in formula D but to me its a no-brainer

W3RD. I have pics of my dad doing "power slides" in his custom 350 powered Vega back in the 70's.

Hell, My dad is the one that taught me how to slide in his beat up 68 Camaro. That was 30 years ago. When I turned 16 I started sliding the Camaro in the school parking lot. Nothing like a old Camaro with bald tires to do really great donuts.

One of these days I need to throw the HUGE rear swaybar (38 mm) I have sitting in the garage back on my SS and go drifting with it. Oversteer city with that setup .

High school...always the best time to learn how to drive a car the wrong way I had an El Camino back in the day but never attempted any drastic oversteer. Back then I thought going fast in a straight line was the coolest thing evar. Now I just want to keep turning
