one time i was turning on to this major street in my town and when i passed to the right of a this big truck there was a disabled person heading straight at me in his eletric wheelchair. I was like ahhh and swerved and barly missed him. Who drives a wheel chair in to 50 mph on coming traffic. Oh and i still see he riding down the road once in a while.

freakin thing caught on fire .... Got to the gas station...
I'm trying to understand why you would drive a flaming car to a gas station?
BTW, sorry to hear 'bout your misfortune.

ok, i drove to the gas station because it was the closest area i could park off of the road. the road where the accident happend was a 2 lane per direction bridge.

update on the car, for some reason i'm hearing a clunking noise when i drive over bumps. comming from the front passenger side. And the car smells like cigarettes and **** still. Im not sure how long that will take to go away but i can smell it from at least 30 feet away.

You know, about 2 years ago (maybe 3), my sister had to avoid a matress on the freeway (Near stevenson @ 880), she called 911 as soon as she saw it... the operator told her it wasn't an emergency, and for her to call the non-emergency line. So, she did... Anyway, that night on the news, there was a fatal accident on 880 @ stevenson involving a matress on the freeway.

Not an emergency eh?

I almost got nailed by a flying piece of what looked like dry wall. Man I got on 680 south last night going home from work...at mission. You know how you have to fly up that onramp to keep from getting run over by the big rigs coming down the hill. Well I'm going like 80 coming up on a big rig so I start to get over. Just as I am doing that I see something out of the corner of my eye....freaking HUGE chunk of drywall...like over half a sheet comes flying either off the rig or from under it and just caught air. Missed me and flew off the freeway into the bushes.

Talk about luck. If I hadn't been changing lanes right then I would have gotten plastered by that thing.

oh...and for you **** and cig smell problem. you may want to take it to one of those power wash places. Jack up your front end. Spray the whole thing with simple green man...the bottom that is...then power wash that mother. Simple green is magic. haaa. Be prepared to get very wet crawling around.

While your down there look at your front suspension.

Maybe you tweeked something a little driving with that mattress. Could be as simple as a bent strut but check your control arm and everything involved with suspension on that side.
