ya it wasn't to crowded when I went at like 3pm. The way up there wasn't any traffic at all the way down was a little more crowded. The majority of the bikers seemed to be waiting at the vista-point.
It was pretty fun but I need to work on my heel-toe downshifting.

Careful, we used to out run the SUV cop up there, but lately, the camaro has been making a few cameos. Been going up there since '99, but thanks to Initial D, every freakin rice-boy has turned that spot into the new Montague/Trade Zone/Dixon Landing.

Wow.. first I heard of that. I guess "Mountain Driving" is easier than "I couldn't get a lock on radar and they were going too fast to pace them" hahahahaha
Beware of 9.. it's heavily patrolled.

Yes it is, Last week during the evening commute hour a sherrif was sitting just past the first passing lane using radar. The CHP heavily patrols it and HWY 35 because of all the bikers that wad on the weekends, not to mention the ricers that wad.

you're lucky.....they aren't always there, but they are often enough esp. during the days and weekends. I have seen them cruising around there as late as 12-1am.
Just be careful, there are TONS of places for them to hide on that road. I love driving it as well....but its risky, so I dont go as much as I would like.....gotta get out to a track day.
