Has anyone been on highway 80 in the sierra within the last 48hrs? Just checking to see if anyone used chains or cables.

How are the Proxes in the snow? I've got Proxes 4s (17s) and I'm not expecting anything much snow-wise, but it'd be good to get an idea before I head up.

about 3 weeks ago, I was in truckee stuck for two hours. It was right after the first big storm that rolled through tahoe area. I'm on proxes 4 18" I would have to blame my lowered stance plus the fact they didnt plow the road yet. Once we got on the cleared roads, I was good to go. just take it slow

yup, same tire. We went up in irrational x's lgt that's damn near completely dumped. It did perfectly fine through everything. Plowed or not.

Just take your time and pace yourself.
