how much you guys think it would be to fix that? as in getting used parts, bargain hunting, and just getting the frame etc done professionally

well do you have a REALLY good hook up with a body shop?

that thing is jacked front AND real, Im sure the body shop bill was around 15-16K, hats why it got totaled. Even if you somehow got it done for half of that, your in it for about 15K all together for a slavage title 04 STI, I sold my clean title STI for about that much, and theyres more coming down to those prices every day,
not worth it

Someone else in the Santa Cruz area destroyed their bugeye/hawkeye WRB WRX or STi last week (too F-d up to tell, seriously). Paul Sweet Rd, near Chaminade. Even if they are on here, doubt they'll fess up.

...why I added the "doubt they'll fess up"...for more than one reason. It was my boys who kept his friend alive.

I drive by that car almost everyday, and I saw them taking the pictures Saturday morning. It's been under a cover, so I couldn't really see how bad it was...but wow, that thing has seen better days for sure!

IIRC some older BOV styles that were more universal, people would attach them to part of the Y-pipe since it was not specifically designed for Subarus.

He might have had to... In some areas of that region you can go off a cliff and not be found for weeks! I had a good friend go off a cliff in a remote area and the only thing that saved them was the fact that his passenger wasn't hurt and was able to climb up the cliff and flag down someone (no cell reception). He had to wait for about an hour for a car to stop for him since there were so little cars. Lets not judge the situation until we have the facts cuz who knows what happened... Whoever they are, I hope they are doing well and I hope the guy that got really injured makes a full recovery.

(any word on the type of injury?)
