Hey guys, just got an STi Sunday night.
Hey all, not a lot of you guys know me, I just lurk the boards all the time. My name is Mike and yes, I'm only 18. So I've been following the WRX since...November of 2002. I joined i-club...that month, and I've been dreaming of this car ever since that time I saw an i-club meet on the beach. So after 2 and a half years, I finally got one. (well not me). My family purchased the STi Sunday night, and it's the silver one with silver rims. I put down around 3k, my bro put down 3k, mom 10k, and we're financing the rest. I love this car so much, it's great. Although I'm only learning how to drive a stick, I've gotten pretty ok at it. I haven't really driven the car hard yet because I'm afraid of messing the car up, so I'll just take it slow. Hope to see some of you around.

Yeah it's been a long time..looking at the member's gallery everyday, reading posts about the car, but i'm sure a lot of people have waited longer. I know how lucky I am, and I know how hard it is to get something like this. Funny thing is..all these years, I'vebeen reading about the WRX thinking I would never get an STi. I knew exactly which parts I wanted and everything about the WRX, but getting the STi, I have no idea what mods to do, I don't think I'll do any because its such a great car. And I figured...if I got a WRX, id waste so much money on it that I couldve bought an sti.

Hey, aren't you still working for your parents or something? I think you said that you were busting your butt trying to get an Impreza or something like that. Congrats! I remembered how happy I was when I got my Impreza back in 02 that I posted up a photo as soon as I got my car too.

Take it easy with the car, the STi is an amazing car(I just drove one for the first time yesterday) but I know I would get my self in to trouble in that car. hehe.
Have fun, and come out to one of the car control clinics the BMW-GGC club puts on, you will learn more in the one day class then you will learn then just driving on your own.
Good luck and congrats on the new ride.
