Guys: My friend needs to buy a STI by this weekend seriously. He went to one of the dealer and check if anyone have it in stock. He looking for White STI, but the dealer told him that only new brand new 04STI in the whole US. He's not sure if it's ture or what and he's asking for my help. The dealer also told him that they just got the 05STI in stock, but not ready to sell yet and asking $10,000 markup on that even it's for sales now. My friend was crazy on STI, but not that crazy, you know. Then I told him that he might find an used 04 easiler and he said it's OK as long as he can find a White STI by this weekend. I need you guys help me to find a new one or used one in white or WRB seriously! Anywhere in the bay! Please help if anyone knows where to get it right a way for reasonable price, not over like $35,000.
Thanks Andy
Thankyou for all your support guys. My friend bought it last night already, but is WRB, not white.

Did your friend go to Steven's Creek?
I'm not up on the STi market, but I imagine it's not nearly in that kind of demand now. Even when it had just come out some people were getting them for MSRP. Remember if the dealer has them SITTING ON THE LOT. They are not as in demand as he says they are. If they were REALLY in demand, they'd all be GONE!
I'd seriously check around the usual internet sources like edmunds and carbuyer, check online inventories, etc... He should be able to do much better than 10k over MSRP.
Why does he HAVE to buy by this weekend. About the worst thing you can do for your pocketbook is rush a car purchase. You're talking about potentially saving 10 grand, and potentially a couple grand interest on top of that 10 grand too... that's a LOT of money.

No, the 10k markup is on the 2005 STI and my friend wanted to buy a 2004 instead because the markup situation. If anyone knows any dealer will still have a 04, let me know. About the purchase by this weekend is because he just crashed his Acura CL and he needs replacement now. He got into subaru because of me.

I found one at Livermore Subaru on the Subaru site.
3800 1st St
Livermore, CA 94550
925-447-1100
The page says to ask for Frank D.
It seems to be the only white STi in the entire Bay Area region according to the inventory locator on subaru.com

Unfortunately, we are out of the Impreza STi.
We sold the last unit couple of weeks ago.
