Hey BAIC hows the drive to tahoe!

Im heading up to tahoe on friday just wondering if there is anything I need to do to prepare for it. Were renting out a house up there, I think it is like 5 min to northstar. I check northstar website and they are having the VANS snowboarding tournament this weekend, theres going to be alot of people up there.

Are any of you guys going up??

Thanks

I'd be prepared for all of the snow in the forecast for this weekend. Whenever I go up there in winter I bring an extra blanket and some food to have in the car just in case. Plan to leave early if you're heading up on a Friday when it's snowing, otherwise you'll spend more time idling in chain controls than anything else during the weekend. And make sure you've got tires that will work in the snow - depending on where the house is that you're staying since it's been snowing the road may or may not have been plowed by the time you get there and you don't want to be on summer tires for that kind of driving

Other than that, have a blast. I stayed at a cabin up there with some friends a few weeks ago and it was awesome

I'll be at Sierra on Sunday. Not to jack your post, but since it'll be likely snowing would one need to adjust the rsb to the lowest setting? I've got my whitleline rsb set at the middle.

I wouldn't worry about it. I would be more worried about what type of tires you have the condition they are in.

I drove on snow and ice with my cusco bar set at 21mm over ice and snow with no issues.

No. Put your stockers back on or have a friend drive. I 'd bring a couple deli sandwitches, some extra food, a blanket, a gameboy and radio, a bottle of tomato juice and some vodka.
