Yeah, the van part I didn't get.

Interesting the pilot goes: "(the van) is picking up the wounded AND THE GUNS"

I just saw wounded being picked up.

My Great uncle was a British commando that participated in D-Day.

How may ME countries have you been to?
Have you ever been outside of your house without either parent/guardian holding your hand?

Its based upon the rules on engagement. If there's a threat, usually any type of militia or weapons on hand that's a combatant. The army is to engage all hostiles, unfortunately in war there are always innocent deaths involved...."Wrong place and at the wrong time" However its the jobs of the ground troops to ID those militia and combatants and give actual confirmation to the gunners to engage specifically on those particular individuals and not fire just because they think they have weapons.

yeah, read the cnn article. It says they were all journalist related people, and that there had been "ARMED INSURGENTS" in the area, not with them.

Sorry guys, but I think we are a little smarter than that, and should be more honorable. This isn't Afghanistan either, it's Iraq. Gotta tread a little more lightly....

Main thing is No need for innocent killing that is going to breed more jihad terrorists.

I say this cause all that has to be done is show this video of innocent people being slaying without cause is perfect propaganda for little syrians and people from YEMEN, or anywhere in the middle east. I mean why not hate the US after seeing this ****, it just proves their point.

I'd like to see how that gunner felt after he killed someone with his hands or see's some people shot first hand, not killing with a button.

Good for those soldiers man, sure after you watch the video a few times you can decipher a camera from a weapon, those guys were hitting threatening targets from hella far out , in real time, with ground crew support. from the time the gun is fired to when the rounds hit was a helluva delay.

and if you are a journalist over there, you know you are taking a huge risk, especially if you are hanging out with the baddies... if you are hanging out with the baddies in a "relaxed manner" you pry shouldnt be, and well... **** happens

bummer for the kids but know what, bad judgement call on the parents/adults the kids were with picking up the bodies...

They have hated us long before this video and will for long after its forgotten. Islamic fundamentalists don't need an excuse to hate our culture and don't think for a second they wouldn't kill every last one of us without a second thought.

Really? Do you think Islamic fundamentalists are peace loving people? Have you slept through the hundreds of audio tapes from them declaring that they would love to kill us all? Did you ignore the news on the days when they carry out suicide missions with the intent of killing large numbers of Americans?
