Question help! Turbo inlet hose blew, on track, have questions

Today at the track my turbo inlet hose blew I didn't realize it untill the end of the fourth session, I think I may have happened near the beginning of the fourth session. What are the chances that I damaged something running the car like that? I still need to drive 200 miles or so to get back to the bay area, is it ok to drive with a hole in the hose? I've done my best to move the inlet hose around to get a better seal but it still is broken.

Thanks

being that the car uses a MAF, im surprised the thing is running. However anything that will seal the leak will work. Its a vacuum drawn through the inlet, not pressurized. I highly doubt any damage could be caused by it.

OK. I thought the systme wasn't presurized, but I'm also not hitting target boost like there is a boost leak. Would a hole in the inlet tube cause me not to hit peak boost? If the hose in the inlet would not effect peak boost what out place could have a boost leak, and is there any easy way to check?

Thanks

Turns out the ECU wires were overlapping each other causing a short! I broke down 2 more times on the way home from thunderhill.

Damn alan, (sorry if the name is wrong, I'm horrid with them). Two more times on they way... I bet your glad you didn't drive back last night. Glad to see you made it back, eventually, hehe.

Back to the car:
Staying out of boost will be easy, but is there a way to diagnose the problem without tearing everything appart?

your boost leak should not be the issue untill you fix you intake hose or your gonna end up replacing your motor. a unmetered airleak (which means its after the airflow meter) will cause lean fuel mixture
which under boost can cause detonation
which causes holes in pistons
be smart and get it fixed locally or tow it
figure out your boost issue after you have that intake pipe fixed. it will probably be ok after you do the pipe.

Found the boost leak. After checking the exhaust manifold for leaks I couldn't find any so I pressurized the intake system with an air compressor. It turns out that the BOV is leaking as the gasket to the intercooler. I just ordered a stock bypass valve and should get that soon and I also ordered a new inlet hose from gruppe-s. ...Stupid cars, haha.
