help with torsion bars

help with torsion bars

ok.. so i have a wrx with an sti wing and sti torsion bars. i just ordered a seibon cf trunk and i know that the trunk is alot lighter then the sti wing and trunk. i dont want my cf trunk to be flyin or shootin stuff off of it when i open the trunk up.. my concern is... is there any way to fix this? somewhere i can buy torsion bars made for cf trunk? any help would be appreciated.

i have a set of wrx bars laying at my hosue if you want them. Haha its a little far of a drive though =P

when i had my cf trunk i left the torsion bars off completely. i ordered a strong *** magnet online and that was enough to keep the trunk up at all times.

RU-X ill TAKE IT!!! and that mid wing.. god was it scary to install... pu tit liek this... she has 2 extra holes on the side waiting for a shop to install it professionally... XD btw when are you free al i have my gauges and gauge pod ready for install kinda...

the sheetmetal in between the outer layer and inner layer was unexpected...but i guess there are 2 holes now instead of 1.

Thats why I said to use nutcert when installing that mid-wing.

when you realize that the WRX torsion bars are even too much for the CF trunk, let me know and I'll buy them off you

haha sure thing i will i said kinda because the pod my gf bought for me was supose to be a 60mm and they sent a 52 but wont return it for **** and tells me to dremil it to 60mm so its kind of not ready at the same time...
