help in South San Francisco
okay guys i am repairing my 05 wrb sti and ive been looking for a wrb hood and ive found one for a good price but its in south San Fransisco and im all the way in LA so i need someone to take a look at it and let me know if its in good enough condition for me to drive 400 miles and pick it up. i tried asking the owner of the shop seems like a brain dead slob who isnt giving me any clear answers and isnt willing to send better pics.

LOL AcuTech?!?!? I used to work there last year. all their parts are shipped from the Philippines, NOT japan as you may think... and they store all their parts OUTSIDE. The guy that who stock them is a High School kid who doesn't know **** about car but had a wanna be Si. I wouldn't buy anything from them. BUT if you must, they have another branch in LA area. that might be easier for you. all their parts goes to So. Cal FIRST than shipped by them selfs to SSF. So. Cal is the place for all the JDM parts... don't come up north... unless you want to waste your time and gas.. ?
Oh and ask them for a DETAIL picture of the parts before anything. That HS kid, his job is to stock and take Pictures of all the parts to sell online so i'm 100% sure they have a picture already, but their service isn't top notch. and what ever they tell you, DON'T believe it. until you see it for yourself first. Don't forget they will say and do what ever they have to, just to sell... typical china man...

yeah this is always the kinda stuff I hear about AcuTech,
tell you what i did when I got my STI hood ****ed up by a blown semi retread on the freeway, I went out and bought a cheap *** $150 knock off CF hood and posted I would trade it straight across brand new for an 04-05 WRX hood in PSM, I had the kid at my house and swaped by the end of he weekend. give that a shot first, you can probably save yourself alot of hassle
