I'm still batting around the idea of buying an SC2 2nd jen to do up as a cheapo auto-xer. I'd have to sell my other "extra" car to do it though (an '84 e30) which I just can't seem to get myself to do.

It's an '84 325e with about 240k miles on the body and 80k on the rebuilt motor and trans. She still purs like a kitten (after she warms up). The paint is pretty good (gotta love the old lacquers) and the leather inside is all new. I have big plans for her, but since I recently started a new business, can't spend the money at the moment. For the time being, I drive her abour 200 miles a month just to keep things running.

I still wish I bought yours to be honest.
I got a good deal on this one though. Bought it off of a friend for what a dealership offered him as a trade-in; $400.
