Dude, you posted this thing like 5 different times. Yes, your engine is jacked up. Now your only option is to sell your car to me for cheap. Since that engine is toast.

lol!!
Ok, one thing I would be careful of is the pullys, some of them (think engine timing) can get cracked, and that would F up the inside of your engine.
Your best bet is to take it to the shop, get yourself a rental car to drive around in.

I would take your car to a dealership that you trust, and have them do the estimation of the damage, this way they can check your motor out.
I think the pulleys in question are not only the ones in front of the timing cover, but the timing pulleys as well, inside the timing cover.
I recommend Carlsen in Redwood City.

if the impact was hard enough, it could damage your car. look what happened to andrew's car (rs turbo from LIC)... http://www.subydude.com/video/video_dump/rsturbo.wmv

A similar happened to my dad in his 2001 9-5 aero. He was actually hit from behind, he was stopped and the tacoma that hit him was doing 55. His car was pushed underneath the car in front of him, and caused a lot of front end damage. The shop where it was taken said "no more than 12k in damage" but it ended up being over 19k
because the force of the hit was enough to cause internal damage to the engine.

it's 100% the other guys fault... take the car in.... have it get fixed by the dealer.... they should take liability if the engine goes to **** in 1k miles. You'll be fine.
if the dealership things there's any chance teh engine is ****ed up.... then they will just put a new one... they don't give a ****.... the other guy is the one being charged.
they are far moree likely to over fix your car then underfix it.

If the belts in the front were touched at all, the engine could be in trouble. Otherwise, it's just frame damage but even frame damage could be a reason for the insurance company to total your car, and that's a good thing. If your car is considered totalled and a total loss, you'll get a new car instead of getting the frame and parts fixed which will leave you with a less than perfect car.
