HELP! Nut stuck on stud in turbo
I'm trying to remove my downpipe, one of the nuts is stuck on a stud in the turbo. I've used almost 1/2 a can of PB blaster on it, broken one 6pt craftsman socket, and tried everything I can think of.
Anyone know how I could get this off or any shops that are open on Sunday that could get it off for me? (taking the entire stud out would work as well).

If youre in MV...
that kid with the black lowered silverado flare side truck on the speed bump street (going towards 85, on the left side of street) has that huge garage with a lift, lots of tools...i dont know him, he went to MV tho.
ive seen a silver WRX parked outside of it a few times, maybe he'll help you out...

If you can apply heat or cold, that might help. Also, instead of a ratchet, try using a box wrench, preferably a 12pt. A long fat pipe on the end will help with some extra torque, if you've got the space.

Thanks for the suggestions, but none of those would have helped. When the 6 pt snapped, it rounded out the edges a little bit and there was no way to get it off with a socket.
Ended up using one of these and it came right out.

Yeah, a nut splitter was really my last resort, did not want to have to deal with the possibility of damaging the stud (which was stuck in the turbo as well) since I have never used one before.
