Help needed: What does the back of the STI rear seats look like?

So I removed the subwoofer from my car's trunk today and now the yellow foam of the back of the rear seats is exposed when you open the trunk. I'm sure it wasn't like this orginally so whoever installed the subwoofer must have discarded the baffle/lining. I want to know if I can glue on some speaker box carpet to the back or create a baffle.

So my question is for those of you that know or can quickly check, what does the back of the seat look like as you see it through the trunk? If you put your hand up against the back seat from the trunk, is it a solid baffle or is it carpet that is just covering the foam?

Secondly, anybody know where I can get a piece of 3.5'x 2' piece of trunk carpeting for cheap?

Better yet, if someone has that baffle for sale, let me know. TIA!

I'm pretty sure that it is a black little honeycomb piece. Other than that, it is just the foam. There are black bars that are there but that is it.

Thanks importfanatic17. I see the black bars but since I was never able to see that side of the seats before, I don't know what the "black honeycomb" looks like. However I do see two mounting clips/screws that probably secure this baffle. Can anyone possibly take a close up picture for me of their backseat? Thanks!

I stopped by both Carlsen Subaru and also Ron Price Subaru and tried to ask about the piece that I'm missing but it's still unclear which piece(s) I need. Unfortunately I didn't drive my car to the dealerships for them to see. In any case, I may be needing a $30 part. However, I want to confirm so if anyone in SF/Daly City has an 04 or '05 STI w/o the ski pass through that I can look at in person. Anyone?

They JUST took the Subaru catalog out of my computer TODAY or I'd get you a part number... it's a rear seat back cover. I see the thing in my head and know exactly what it is, just don't know the part numer.

Sorry I'm no help.

Unit 91, thanks for the help though! I have the part # and also the diagram in front of me but both dealerships didn't know if I needed all 3 pieces or just one piece. I'm hoping just the one $30 piece. The part # that I think I need is 94511FE030 from Carlsen but from Ron Price, the diagram shows 94512A. It's confusing...

I can't agree with you more but I'm selling the car and most buyers would find it suspicious if I'm missing that trim piece.
