Sounds like you were having fun. In order to speak with him/hear him threaten you, you would have had to have rolled down the window. If you had both been at a stop, then why not accelerate away, since you seem to know you're faster?
6. "I am not afraid, I have a rott, a 6'8" husband, and a nice 9mm in the house if it ever came to that."
Sounds like you're HIGHLY intimidated if you don't want to use the word "afraid". So he has your plate? What can he do with it, report it to the police? Doesn't sound (from your description) like this person would be in a position to approach the police. He didn't say he was going to "track you down", so as far as the police are concerned, it's another forgettable case of road rage, in which you merely escalated the incident by your continued interaction with this person, and the choices you made.
"I would like to know who he is so I can address his additude."
Sounds like you're the one with the problem. He's probably forgotten all about this incident. You're the one who's holding this anger, and you expect to exact some sort of "revenge" on him. I presume you're going to have your dog, your husband AND your 9mm with you when you do confront this guy, right??
