Carlsen charges $11 ?? Not the last time I bought come. I got two for around $15 with crush washers. But I did buy two cars there and I'm a cheap bastard so I always ask for a discount

Just go to Pep Boys and pick up the Purolator Oil Filter L14460 for $3.95.
Same exact filter Subaru dealerships are selling you for $10 or whatever outrageous price for the Subaru name on it.

Yes, I was actually told that at the Pepboys on Stevens Creek. Searched their shelves for a good 5 minutes for that part number until I gave up and left.
