Help me spend my tax return

...cause I suck at making decisions.

So basically I have 2 options, help me out here.

Option 1: KW v3 coilovers.

Option 2
: Full Race GT35r kit (stock location), with all the goodies. (have to save a bit more for this, not instant pleasure.)

Current state of the car:

Suspension: RCE Yellow springs, stock struts and all bushings, sways, camber plates, blah blah blah.

Engine: Stage 2 protuned with meth kit in the mail.

I don't want to buid the block just yet. If I do that I may want to do some mild head work at the same time and I'm not sure if I want to invest that much into this car.

oh okay, gotcha, I was just thinking if you are wanting to do gt35r, you might as well spend the money on the block first. that was my mistake and wish i could do it all over again. good luck on your build though! its fun ****.

I'm not gonna go rotated, its gonna be a 1.5 scroll stock location 35r. I don't want to risk rotated in Commiefornia and I would for sure build the block on a rotated kit. I've talked this through with a few guys and we've all pretty much agreed a good, safe tune should keep the internals in one piece.

I'm prepared to accept if/when something goes wrong, but I kind of want to put my/our theory to test.

Thats kind of what I was thinking. I'm getting a really good deal on the KWs, but thats limited time.

If I opted for the turbo, I'd also need injectors, TGV deletes, tune, inlet, etc. so it would take a bit to get the 'fun money' in line for that. I also think the meth kit will push me above 300whp and keep me happy for the time being.

I like both, but as I'm getting older, I find myself obeying the speed limit in a straight line and breaking it on not so straight lines. Guess that shows where my heart lies.

Invest in asian stocks. You'll not only save money, but make money. American stocks are still over priced! Capital Euro Marketing ftw.

OK ok ok, I get it, the economy sucks. I know, I'm self employed.

This is fun money we're talking about, I'm in no way stretching myself to make either purchase.

Coilovers. Especially if it's at a limited time price. KW V3's are nice. At least with buying that, there aren't any other additional costs (besides a good alignment). Drive it around a nice road and you'll likely change your mind about the need for the power mod.
