Help Me Price my Car

Hey Guys,
I'm an old member that's hoping to get some help. Thinking of getting rid of my baby as its just sitting in the garage. Not sure how to price it. I'm a pretty motivated seller and want a fair price. Any ideas? I know this forum gets a lot of traffic so I thought of posting here. Hope no one minds but if mods want to take it down I'll understand. I use to live in the bay but am now in Socal. Here's my ad that I'm going to post soon. Parting out would just be too painful for me so I rather just sell whole.

Time to let my baby go. Car has been babied. Garage queen. Pretty much sat in the garage for the past 8 yrs. I’ve probably put less than 10k miles in the last 5 yrs. Absolutely nothing wrong with car. Fires up strong. Hope to go to a Subaru enthusiast that will finish her up right. Car has been worked on by well known NOR-CAL shops. Already passed smog so you’re good for the next 2 years. Here’s a list of mods. Car is in tip top shape and you can bring to any mechanic to get it checked out. I’m an honest guy that takes care of his toys. Car is about 300HP to the wheels.(mustang dyno)

2002 wrx 65k original miles
20k miles on JDM STi Ver 8 Motor (revs to 8,000 RPM)
Port and polished vf-34 turbo
Ecutek management system
Helix uppipe, downpipe, catback exhaust, Catch Can
Gruppe-S Headers
Greddy Front Mount, w/HKS BOV Greddy intake
Sun Grounding Kit

STI RA Gears (stronger 5 spd Transmission) 03-02 WRX came with a fragile Tranny.
ACT 6 Puck Clutch

KYB Shocks W/ RSR springs
Helix Endlinks
Cusco lower H Bar, Cusco Rear Strut Bar
Perrin 4 pot Calipers (front) H6 rear upgrade (Larger rotors)
Stoptech rotors F&R, Stoptech Stainless steel brakelines

Exterior has been fully repainted WRB
JUN Front bumper, C-west sidesskirts and rear lip (molded on for a smooth look)
06 wingless trunk, 05 Rear Tailights, 05 STI steerting wheel,
JDM side Rain Guards, Tein Hood Struts
SEIBON reverse scoop,
EVO Recaro’s Seats

Full Sony Sound system.

Probably a bunch of things I’m missing but those are the major parts.

Wow! Such a beauty!
Considering low mileage and mods...$15K?

Please, whatever you do, don't post this on Craigslist. That car is way to beautiful to risk having it go to someone who will beat on it, or not appreciate all the hard work.
If I had the money, I'd buy this in a heartbeat.
Best of luck !

14k-15k is going to hard to get. I sold my 2004 WRX with a JDM ver7 207, trans, axles, rear diff, full complete set up. A new GT3067r, all new supporting mods. Stoptech BBK and brembos in the rear. and other many goodies. All put together by EQ tuning with paperwork.

I got 10k. Its hard to sell a car that has been so modded. GL though! You might get that one person!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this. You would need to find the right buyer with the same preferences to appreciate the value of completed work. Otherwise, you have to part out to maximize your proceeds.

Also, that's one of the cleanest engine bays I have seen (on a non-show car).

Good luck with whatever route you take!

My initial thought was around that 14-15k mark. Maybe start there, expect high 12's or so. That thing is in super good condition and the body mileage is low. Lots of mods are really nice but ultimately don't help the price that much which is a bummer haha. 04/05 Sti's with higher mileage usually go for around that 14-15k mark, so I think its competitive. I think the bugeye is a little less wanted but that being said people like wrx's.

Thanks guys. I'll post for 13k. and see what offers I get.

If I were to part out....You think it would be an easier sell? What would go first?

If you part-out... I might want your motor... I've been contemplating a 207 swap

Do the car some justice and part it out. If this was mine, I wouldn't want this to go to some person who ends up trashing it within a year.
