Help Me Pass Smog Ahhhhhhh

OK...... so im in this stupid situation.....

The car is reg to my uncle, but now he want to give it to me. my aunt suppose to tell my dad that i am going to the dmv today but she didn't (or he forgot) ....... I just install my vf34 turbo and injector on saturday (i really dont want to pay 300 bucks again to unstall it). I have that plus full catless and cobb stage 2.5.

NOW the question, can i just swap the downpipe to exhuast and pass the smog test?

HELP ME

I'd swap the full turboback back on. The ECU/turbo/injectors shouldn't make much of a difference as long as you have all the cats. You can almost certainly skip the uppipe.

Nevermind....family transfer requires no smog check (and no tax!)

Did you read my second post? That link shows you that there is NO smog check required, and NO tax paid. Just some paperwork.

Leave it. Otherwise I'm sure you'll run rich/weird with the STi injectors and a stock map.

That sucks about paying the tax...but it's not your money! hahahah

I would be willing to bet that if you went back you could explain the situation and get the tax refunded. At least I could.

OK... i ask the tech that was fixing my car about the family thing. inorder to do that we need to have the same last name which we dont, so yea i suck.

12hrs of hell i went threw today. took 2 smog test to pass i didn't eat, my eye hurt my foot hurt and im very dizzy right now.......... plus i need to go back to the dmv tomorrow ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

BTW if you have the same set up as mine you just need the stock downpipe midpipe and a legal exhuast to pass.
