i gotta look at value also...i can pick up an evo, but i also got to look at the fact that the evo X is coming out soon, which means that prices of the evo 8's should drop substantially. on the other hand, the s2k will be discontinued this year, so that car should be able to hold its value pretty well.

Hopefully F***ed Over Really Dead (FORD) doesn't put their know-nothing-about-handling, want-to-make-everything-a-Ford hands on Mazdas' engineering department.
If you are considered selling, might as well upgrade. With gases prices on the raise, NO don't get a V8 or some stupid white boy cobra. Get something relialbe and classy. At least IMO. I have been thinking about getting an other car too. But that is getting another and keeping my suby if I can afford it.
s2000 and evo are both very good choices dude. it just depends on what you want. there arent a lot of cool cars out there and these are some of the best road cars.

+1 AMEN
If you love your suby to death you would sell this one and get another........thats what i did....
I had a 2000 outback for 4 years and traded it in for an 05 STi. If you luved subies that much you wouldnt even think about getting an evo

Another +1 for the Evo. The S2k is also a nice choice. Sure, it lacks torque, but once you get it in the higher RPMs, it's a blast to drive. The tranny is smooth as fk and it has the reliability of a Honda. Good luck.
