Help me find this part please!

Found this on my friends 07 STI. It sits in the space where the auxiliary plug is if you don't have one, and holds change and stuff. I removed my auxiliary plug since I have an aftermarket head unit, and now have a hole where stuff can fall. Any help is greatly appreciated I can't find it anywhere. Only thing of significance written on the side of it is "OEW 50442", but didn't provide me with anything online. Thanks!

Think for a small part like that you will have to unless a pick-n-pull may have a wrecker with that part in it. There are several pick-n-pulls in the bay area and also try this place: Subaru Suzuki KIA Auto Recycling (916)638-5773, although they normally only carry parts for all Subaru vehicles minus the STi...I know whack right? LOL

Checked genuine parts already, couldn't find it.

Decided to go down to the stealership and found it for $32.00.

It's called an "Ash tray". People who smoke put their ashes into it... People who don't smoke put their change inside of it.

Some of us cut ours out in the back, and trimmed out the door, then put our tire pressure monitor system into it flush so it looks stock

I'm actually trying to find a strobe light to put in that pocket.

Good luck on finding the part.

If you need to find a subaru part, PM Unit91..he's an i-clubber who is also the parts manager at Steven's creek subaru..he once ate an entire subaru imprezer schematic as a dare and now he can recite part numbers without using the microfiche.

Seriously though, PM Unit91...he'll help you in a second. Mention the secret code- "I recently had my bushings greased" and he'll give you the i-club discount.

What part number did they sell you? Depending on what else is there (can't see because your hand is in the way in the picture) it could be one of several different pieces. There are actually 3 different options for the bit in your hand and the lid. Yup...

That is what I did wrong! I thought the secret code was "I would like to grease YOUR bushing"

He let me take a look at the picture you guys have, and I got the non-auxiliary piece, or I guess the ashtray piece. It came out to like $35 or something.

edit: my hand is covering the cigarette lighter.
